Thank you to all of our Team members who have made Jeff’s dream MORE than a reality! Together we have raised over $1.1 MILLION dollars in the six short years we have been doing this! We look forward to YOU joining us to bring additional attention and awareness, during your haunts, of the children being treated at St. Jude Childrens Hospital and the awesome work they do there! 2026 Campaign Prep!
Here are few items you may need to get ready:
About your sign! Our fundraiser will end on December 31, which means the links and QR codes will no longer work for next year. Next year you have the option to get a new sign or download just the QR code to put on your existing sign. More to follow on this…
Fundraise through Christmas: If interested, continue using our fundraising links, sign and QR code to fundraise up to December 31. Last year, our team raised ~$7,000 through the holidays after Halloween.
Future and upcoming 5 year veterans: If interested in a 5 year coin (see photo below) ensure you are posting a sign photo from each year in this Fb group NOT IN Messenger or email. To be eligible for the sign you need to have 5 years of sign photos (one for each year) in our group. I’ll make an exception for missing one sign photo but it can’t be on your first year.
Map challenges: I’m considering removing the SSJ map from our effort and using Frightmaps as the option for our team to showcase their home. This would mean you only post one sign photo with Frightmaps and not with SSJ, unless you want to receive the 5 year coin. I know there were challenges getting the SSJ icon this year. I’ll work with Frightmaps to improve our process.
SSJ Admins: As the sole admin, sign guy, shirt guy…etc…I was overwhelmed this year with work and not as responsive. I’ll work to “hire” some folks to serve as admins.
St. Jude Children's Hospital features SSJ in Inspire
St. Jude Children’s Hospital has a portion of their website to “Inspire” others to give and to participate in fund raising. Sharing stories of those who go above and beyond if you will. Well, our very own Jeff Robertson, President / CEO / Chief Bottle Washer has been featured this month (again) highlighting what this group has become over such a short period of time. - We are under way for the 2026 Fund Raising Campaign!! This website will be the source of all materials for the campaign again this year. Having too many sources breeds mis-communication and we do not want to have that. Check back very often as we will be updating almost daily across the next several months.
- SSJ is pleased to have teamed with Frightmaps, again in 2026, to enable you to place your haunt/home display on their free app with a SSJ icon to show you supporting St. Jude. All signs now include the Frightmaps QR code by default and Frightmaps will be powering our map here on the SSJ website.

The fundraiser originated in Holly Springs, NC in 2020 with Jeff Robertson placing a St. Jude fundraising sign in his yard after a local TV stationed aired his skeleton Halloween display. After generating $8,200 and meeting several people impacted by childhood cancer, including a precious two-year-old girl who was going through treatment, Jeff decided to go bigger and better in 2021! This decision turned out to be a huge hit expanding to 400 homes nationwide and bringing in over 1900 members to the Facebook Group.

Download the sign file or use your 2026 sign, have it printed at a nearby Office Depot, Staples or sign shop of your choice. Click on the Signs tab at the top of the page for more
Place the sign in your yard
Displaying the sign in your yard allows those visiting your display to scan the barcode and donate to St. Jude. Many have incorporated it as a central part of the their display and when you do, we ask that you take a picture and post to our Skeletons for St. Jude Facebook group and so we can add you to our map.

This page, along with the Skeletons for St. Jude Facebook page (link under Follow Us) will show all of the donations along with the totals in real time. It is always fun to watch the numbers go up day by day, hour by hour!
Take part!
Be a part of the over 400 homes in 2021, 625 homes in 2022, 669 in 2023, 681 in 2024 and 563 in 2025 displaying their signs and collecting donations for the children of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Our goal is to see more than 1,000 homes nationwide in 2026! We know this is a heavy lift – But we know better that YOU can make this happen!
This group never seems to disappoint! While the 2025 season saw a bit of a decline in the number of homes as well as the total amount raised for the season, YOU CRUSHED THE MILLION DOLLAR MARK and just had to show off by bringing us to over $1.1 Million Dollars collected over the six years we have been doing this. There are no words to express the immense gratitude and pure joy and Love felt by all of us when we see these numbers and know the lives we will touch with the monies! We look forward to continuing this momentum as we enter into the 2026 season.
