St. Jude Children’s Hospital has a portion of their website to “Inspire” others to give and to participate in fund raising. Sharing stories of those who go above and beyond if you will. Well, our very own Jeff Robertson, President / CEO / Chief Bottle Washer has been featured this month (again) highlighting what this group has become over such a short period of time. - 31 October 2025 : We broke $1.1 million dollars as well we doubled our annual goal of $100,000. What an awesome job by all!
- 29 October 2025 : Winners of our 4th annual photo contest were announced. Congrats:1st: Lori Clayberger of Perkasie, PA2nd: Matt Welch of Wichita, KS3rd: Melissa Holland-Godfrey of Carrollton, GA
- 21 October 2025 : We have also surpassed our goal of $100,000 for the ’25 haunt season and we are still a week and a half away from Halloween!
20 October 2025 : At 11:27 EST we broken $1,000,000 raised for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In just 6 short years, this TEAM has managed what other’s only dream about – Let alone to do it in this timeframe! KUDO’s to EVERYONE for your participation and willingness to promote this group for this outstanding cause! Such an honor to be a part of this!
- 12 October 2025 : Launched our 4th annual display photo contest, this year sponsored by Haunted Hill Farm – THANK YOU! Check out their website to see the Halloween products they produce
- 08 October 2025 : We are less than $50,000 away from achieving our $1,000,000 goal for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Absolutely unreal!
- 02 October 2025 : We have raised more than $25K and have added more than 300 homes listed on the map – Submit your photos on Facebook and help us break a new record!
- 22 September 2025 : We are sub $80K to reach $1M dollars! This is absolutely amazing since we are not even in October yet! Keep up the AWESOME work everyone! Jeff is REALLY getting excited …..

- We would like to welcome Haunted Hill Farm as a new sponsor for the 2025 season! If you are unfamiliar with them, they make a large assortment of animatronics, home decor, themed decor and inflatables for Halloween. Stay tuned as there is more to come from
- How-To videos and sign files have been uploaded to the website (09/03/25) and are available for use. PLEASE – Whether you are a returning champion or new to the Club – Watch the videos! Change is always present and Jeff puts a great deal of effort into these to help spread the word and keep the questions to a minimum. Once you have viewed them, if you still have questions then reach out either via the feedback tool here or via the Facebook page. We thank you in advance!
- We are under way for the 2025 Fund Raising Campaign!! This website will be the source of all materials for the campaign this year. Having too many sources breeds mis-communication and we do not want to have that. Check back very often as we will be updating almost daily across the next several months.
- Jeff posted on 07 August 2025 the 5 year coins. This is related to those who have been with SSJ from the beginning! 5 years of photos with your display will be required to be eligible. This campaign will continue beyond next year so make sure you get your signs posted and get your coin! As always – THANK YOU for all that you do to make this group the best DIY Fund Raising Group out there!
- HEY … Have you heard??? St. Jude Children’s Hospital is allowing us to continue our campaigns again through 2025 Halloween Season – This means we can KEEP our existing QR codes and NOT have to get new ones next year! This is HUGE!! There is a caveat to this, however, in that we (nor St. Jude) can reset your dollar amount back to zero for the 2025 campaign. This will be a manual process: Jot down your numbers from previous campaigns before beginning to collect for 2025. You will need to keep the 2025 running total manually. This has nothing to do with SSJ as we are using St. Jude’s donation platform!
- SSJ is pleased to have teamed with Frightmaps, again in 2025, to enable you to place your haunt/home display on their free app with a SSJ icon to show you supporting St. Jude. All signs now include the Frightmaps QR code by default.

The fundraiser originated in Holly Springs, NC in 2020 with Jeff Robertson placing a St. Jude fundraising sign in his yard after a local TV stationed aired his skeleton Halloween display. After generating $8,200 and meeting several people impacted by childhood cancer, including a precious two-year-old girl who was going through treatment, Jeff decided to go bigger and better in 2021! This decision turned out to be a huge hit expanding to 400 homes nationwide and bringing in over 1900 members to the Facebook Group.

Download the sign file or use your 2023 sign, have it printed at a nearby Office Depot, Staples or sign shop of your choice. Click on the Signs tab at the top of the page for more
Displaying the sign in your yard allows those visiting your display to scan the barcode and donate to St. Jude. Many have incorporated it as a central part of the their display and when you do, we ask that you take a picture and post to our Skeletons for St. Jude Facebook group and so we can add you to our map.
This page, along with the Skeletons for St. Jude Facebook page (link under Follow Us) will show all of the donations along with the totals in real time. It is always fun to watch the numbers go up day by day, hour by hour!
Take part!
Be a part of the over 400 homes in 2021, 625 homes in 2022, 669 in 2023 and 681 in 2024 displaying their signs and collecting donations for the children of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Our goal is to see more than 1,000 homes nationwide in 2025! We know this is a hefty push, however, we saw a huge growth in a very short period of time last year and we know, with your help, we can get there!
News Highlights:
This group never seems to disappoint! Jeff set out in 2024 to place an SSJ sign at more than 600 homes, raise $100,000 and exceed $250,000 collectively over the past four years. All of these goals have not only been met but have been destroyed! 681 homes currently have signs displayed, over $259K has been raised to date (More than doubling our annual goal) and more than $5K in shirt sales combining to show a grand total of over $268K collectively!
